This book is dedicated to children with JIA. It explores the day in the life of a young boy with JIA, through bright, colourful illustrations and text. This book will bring awareness of the condition and teach children how to be supportive and be kind. This picture book is aimed for children between the ages of 3-8 years.   • BUZZY4SHOTS – BUZZY is a small vibrating device designed to help block sharp pain and provide distraction during medical procedures.

A cooling pad (ice-wings) is placed behind Buzzy, and Buzzy is placed between the brain and the pain (usually on arms or hands). Turn Buzzy on and leave him in place during the procedure. Your attention is taken away from the needle and pain and focused on the cool, vibrating buzzy bee.
